Late to the party...

I've contemplated creating a blog for a year or so, and I finally caved. My main reservation for not starting my own blog was that I feared I had nothing interesting or of value to say. I have many interesting thoughts (or so I like to think), but why write about them. After viewing other people's blogs (and quickly losing interest in most of them), I thought to myself, "Why not."

I decided to put my big girl panties on and try this blog thing out for a ride. If you like what I have to say, great; if not, shame on you (just kidding).

So I may be late to the party, but the important people usually are. :)
